DOOM: The Dark Ages | Plasma Rifle Accelerator

The Accelerator is a heavy sidearm that shoots rapid plasma bursts. Powered by a core reactor, this weapon has a big blocky silhouette to contrast its double-barrel counterpart. I took it from early sketches and rough 3D mock-ups through to the final concept.

Accelerator upgrade variations such as increased fire rate, improved long-range accuracy, and the addition of a heat blast mode.

Further refinements - one leaned more into classic SMG shapes, while the other one I pushed the oversized block gun vibe.
